About Small Team Stack
Independent, hands-on guidance for choosing and configuring business software — without a full-time IT team.
Most software advice is written for enterprises with IT departments, or by vendors grading their own homework, or by managed-service providers whose answer is always "hire us." Small Team Stack exists for everyone else: the consultancy with four people, the agency with nine, the real-estate team with a shared login problem.
What we believe
- A 5-person business deserves recommendations sized for 5 people — not a reskinned enterprise list.
- Products work together or not at all, so we recommend stacks, not isolated tools.
- The real price is the renewal price, at your actual headcount.
- Security advice that requires an IT department is not advice you can use.
- No product makes you unhackable. Anyone who promises that is selling something.
Who runs this
Small Team Stack is written by its founder — an infrastructure engineer with 15 years of hands-on experience across Linux, virtualization, cloud infrastructure (AWS and OCI), networking and DNS, monitoring, backup and recovery, production incident response, and security automation — who also builds and ships small-business software.
