Services
Most readers can do everything themselves with our free guides and tools. If you'd rather have it done with you — same methodology, your actual business — this is that.
Founding availability: services are in a limited validation phase — a small number of engagements at founding prices. Email hello@smallteamstack.com with "Stack Check" in the subject. No payment is collected until scope is agreed in writing.
Free — Small Team Stack Check
Run the 10-Minute Security Check and the Cost Calculator, then email us both results (only what you're comfortable sharing). You get back a short prioritized read on your biggest gap and your likeliest overspend. No charge, no obligation.
Software Stack Audit — $399 founding price
A structured review of every tool your business pays for. You get: a full inventory, duplicate-cost analysis, missing-category gaps, the security issues that matter at your size, a recommended stack with current-vs-proposed monthly cost, and a 30-day implementation order. Delivered as a written report plus a walkthrough call.
Secure Setup Sprint — $1,250–$2,500 by scope
We implement the foundations with you: team password manager rollout, MFA baseline, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 security baseline, real backup with a tested restore, and written onboarding/offboarding checklists your business keeps.
Stack Watch — $149–$299/month
Ongoing hygiene for businesses that never want to think about this again: quarterly software inventory and overlap report, price-change monitoring, former-user access review, and backup-test reminders.
The honest boundaries
- We make your setup meaningfully harder to compromise; nobody can make a business unhackable, and we don't promise that.
- These services are not a compliance certification, audit opinion, or legal advice. Regulated industries (healthcare, finance, law) need specialists — we'll say so and point you to the right kind.
- If your business needs a full-time MSP, we'll tell you that too — that recommendation costs nothing.
- Where we recommend products we have affiliate relationships with, the report says so explicitly, and every recommendation includes a non-affiliate alternative.
